This has been a tough month for Dion Bailey. After giving up the long touchdown that cost the Seahawks a win in St. Louis, he found himself benched for Week 2. Now he’s unemployed before Week 3’s game even begins. The Seattle Seahawks waived Bailey on Saturday.
The Seahawks needed to clear a roster spot for return of Kam Chancellor. That we knew, but I don’t think anyone expected Bailey to be the man to draw the short straw here.
The smart money appeared to be on fellow safety Steven Terrell to head to injured reserve to free up that roster spot.
