Clady, a first-round pick for the Denver Broncos in 2008, was traded to the New York Jets prior to the 2016 season. A $10M option for 2017 was declined by the Jets, making him a free agent.
Clady has dealt with injury issues throughout his career, being placed on season-ending injured reserve in both 2013 and 2015.
