While the Seattle Seahawks re-signed backup tight end Luke Willson in free agency, they did not do the same for fellow TE Brandon Williams. On Monday, Williams announced on Twitter that he has signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed, and there’s no word yet on if the Colts will unveil a triumphant “Signed Brandon Williams” banner at Lucas Oil Stadium to mark the occasion.
Williams played most of his snaps on the special teams unit, and served almost exclusively as a blocking TE when he was on offense.
