The Seahawks and free agent running back Fred Jackson have agreed to a one-year contract.
The addition of Jackson augments an already-deep group at running back for Seattle, and you have to wonder if another move is in the works. Both Christine Michael and Thomas Rawls have had their moments this preseason, so it's possible Seattle will look to move one of them for a little more future draft capital or another player. It could also signal a move for Robert Turbin to the injured reserve.
Fred Jackson can run, catch, block, play special teams and do it all reliably, a strong option especially on third downs as a very strong pass blocker and catcher.
