Not necessarily Seattle Seahawks news, but definitely some Seattle football news here. Former University of Washington and Seattle Seahawks tight end, Jack Westover was signed to the New England Patriots practice squad on Wednesday, per the NFL’s transaction wire.
Westover was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Washington by the Seattle Seahawks back in May. However, Westover failed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp. Instead, Westover was waived/injured by Seattle during final roster cutdowns. After not being claimed on waivers by another team, Westover was placed on the Seahawks injured reserve list.
