Former Seahawks safety Kenny Easley was selected as a senior finalist for the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame by a seniors committee that met in Canton, Ohio on Monday, the organization announced.
Easley, selected fourth overall by the Seahawks in the 1981 NFL draft, racked up 32 interceptions over a seven-year career that included four first-team, All-Pro selections and five Pro Bowls. Easley's best season came in 1984 when he had 10 interceptions and won NFL defensive player of the year. He was also named to the NFL's all-decade team for the 1980s, the NFL rookie of the year in 1981 and AFC defensive player of the year in 1983.
