When it’s the quiet part of the offseason, literally any Seattle Seahawks-related transaction is news.
Former Seahawks wide receiver Cody Thompson, one of several practice squad players not given a reserve/future contract at the end of last season, has agreed to a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Thompson has been with the Seahawks in some capacity for all but a handful of months in his six-year NFL career. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs, Thompson was waived in October of his rookie season and signed to the Seahawks practice squad.
