The back-and-forth personnel pipeline between Seattle and San Francisco saw another transfer Friday, with former Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks visiting the 49ers. The visit comes as 49ers linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles are out with injuries.
The 30 year-old Kendricks came up with 90 tackles and an interception in 17 stars with the ‘Hawks. During his time with Seattle, Kendricks’ impending insider trading trial hung over his head, and he left the team after 2019. In 2020 he appeared in one game for Washington.
In July of this year, Kendricks was sentenced to one day in jail, which he has evidently served, as well as three years probation.
