The Seattle Seahawks reported for training camp last week, and this week players donned pads for the first full contact practices of training camp. And while fans are excited about the potential of the youngsters across the roster, of particular note is the youth movement at linebacker where Jordyn Brooks and Darrell Taylor are set to take over the roles held by K.J. Wright and Bruce Irvin last year. Not having Wright in camp for the first time in a decade has been a new experience for both fans and players alike.
That said, the first preseason game is just over a week away and reports Thursday indicate that Wright is set to meet with the first preseason opponent for the Seahawks.
