RENTON -- Four Seahawks players were selected to the 2017 Pro Bowl, the fewest number of Seattle players in six seasons.
Defensive ends Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett, linebacker Bobby Wagner and cornerback Richard Sherman were each selected to take part in the game, which will be played at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida on Jan. 29.
It's the first selection for Avril, who leads the Seahawks with 11.5 sacks on the season.
Defensive line-mate Bennett, the defensive MVP of the 2016 game, was voted in for the second year in a row despite missing five gamed with a knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery.
