Executive Chef Pat Donahue of Anthony’s Restaurant offers great spot shrimp recipe

The spot shrimp fishery is now is full swing in many parts of Puget Sound with anglers hauling in their pots full of these prawn-sized delights, and this week’s seafood recipe of the week by Executive Chef Pat Donahue of Anthony’s Restaurant will surely have your guests at the dining table coming back for more.

Donahue will be contributing many of his delicious recipes for the Reel Time Northwest Fishing blog. Each of the recipes will be related to the “catch” of the week and will run these every Wednesday through Oct. 28.

This season we have tips on how to cook up and dish out a wide variety of local seafood by experts like Sarah Scott, executive chef at El Gaucho in Bellevue; chef Taichi Kitamura, owner of Sushi Kappo Tamura on Eastlake in Seattle; outdoor cookbook author Tiffany Haugen; head chef Chris Gabel at Tini Bigs and Hula Hula in downtown Seattle; tackle shop owners; local seafood-market owners; and fishing guides and charter services.
