Ex-Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson won't be prosecuted

Former Seahawks back-up quarterback Tarvaris Jackson won't face prosecution after allegedly pointing a gun at his wife and threatening to kill her, according to TMZ.

Jackson, 33, was charged with aggravated assault following a June 24 fight with his wife in Kissimmee, Florida. But, according to TMZ, Florida's assistant state attorney claimed there was insufficient evidence to make the case "suitable for prosecution."

Jackson had pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon -- without intent to kill. According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Jackson told police that he admitted he should shoot his wife after she threatened him with a knife.
