The Seattle Seahawks have taken care of their 2024 draft picks.
Sixth-round offensive lineman Michael Jerrell, Seattle’s last draft choice, also doubles as the last one to sign his contract. Seattle previously announced on Friday that third-round guard Christian Haynes had agreed to terms.
Once Jerrell and Haynes have their contract information made available on OverTheCap (which I anticipate happening early next week), we’ll do a rundown on each contract and how they impact Seattle’s salary cap.
Under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, signing draftees is very rarely a hassle and effectively a formality, but there are exceptions (as Seahawks fans would know) that eventually get smoothed out.
