Earl Thomas is no longer a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Barring injury or suspension, his next appearance at CenturyLink Field will be as a remember of the Baltimore Ravens. After nine seasons, 125 regular season games, 12 postseason games, and one Super Bowl championship, the first member of the Legion of Boom was the last to depart the franchise.
Throughout this decade, Thomas has wowed both Seahawks fans and indeed the entire NFL with incredible plays on the field. His importance as the centerpiece of Pete Carroll’s defense cannot be overstated. It was gut-wrenching to see his Seahawks career end on rather negative terms, both contractually and physically.
