Defensive tackle A.J. Francis announced he signed his qualifying offer from the Seahawks Tuesday via Twitter.
An exclusive rights free agent who joined Seattle after he was claimed off waivers from the Miami Dolphins midseason, the 25-year-old totaled one tackle in two games with the Seahawks in 2015.
The 6-foot-5, 321-pounder was an undrafted free agent out of Maryland in 2013, spending parts of two seasons with the Dolphins.
