With the #3 wide receiver spot very much up for grabs, the Seattle Seahawks signed former first-round pick Phillip Dorsett to a one-year deal. Dorsett was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts and was later traded to the New England Patriots, where he won a Super Bowl just two seasons ago.
With New England letting an overwhelming majority of its free agents walk, the Seahawks were able to benefit by not only getting Dorsett, but signing him on what is a very cheap deal (per ESPN’s Brady Henderson).
