Tuesday the Seattle Seahawks saw multi-year starter Shaquill Griffin agree to depart for the Jacksonville Jaguars on a contract larger than many fans were happy to see come from another team. Thus, with a need to fill in the void created by Griffin’s departure, the team quickly turned around and agreed to terms with Ahkello Witherspoon of the San Francisco 49ers. The fact that the deal agreed to between the Seahawks and Witherspoon was for one year and $4M was already known, but a little more detail was revealed Wednesday by Ian Rapoport.
