Running back Demitrius Bronson cleared waivers after being released with an injured designation on Monday, meaning he reverts to the Seahawks' injured reserve.
Bronson joins rookie undrafted free agent Tory Slater on the Seahawks' injured reserve. If the Seahawks really like the potential of both players, they can leave both on the reserve list and treat it like a red-shirt season -- a benefit for both the team and the player (who gets paid) -- but if they feel that demand on the open market is low, they can release either player with an injury settlement. Injury settlements essentially pay a player for the approximate amount of time they're expected to miss with the injury that sent them to the IR.
