When Breno Giacomini started 33 games for the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2013, he was thought of as perhaps the offensive line's weakest link and eminently replaceable.
That hasn't turned out to be the case.
Since he signed with the New York Jets ahead of the 2014 season, the Seahawks have been trying to find some consistency at Giacomini's vacated right tackle position. Justin Britt started 16 games there after his selection in the second round of the 2014 draft, but coaches decided he'd be a better fit inside and moved him to guard the following year before eventually finding him a long-term home at center this past season.
