The Seattle Seahawks created more unrestricted free agents without actually cutting anybody.
With the 2025 league year underway on Wednesday, any player not tendered as either a restricted or exclusive rights free agent would immediately flip to unrestricted status. That applied to four Seahawks at the official start of free agency:
- WR Cody White
- LB Josh Ross
- WR/KR Jaelon Darden
- OLB Joshua Onujiogu
White had a couple of big catches and a blocked punt against the Los Angeles Rams back in Week 9, but otherwise didn’t factor into the offense during the regular season.
