The Minnesota Vikings traveled to Seattle with a 12-2 record that a lot of people across the NFL have been quick to devalue. But make no mistake, the Vikings are a good fucking team and today, the Seahawks gave them everything they could handle. And while the 27-24 loss deeply injured Seattle’s playoff hopes, I believe this afternoon’s performance offers real cause for hope after the ‘Hawks folded against the Packers last week.
I want to be extremely clear— I am not here to equivocate shortcomings. Over the last 13 years I’ve written about enough versions of the Seahawks that range from bad to all-time-great to have a modicum of perspective and my stance on 2024 has always been that this is a diagnostic season.
