RENTON, Wash. -- One half of the Seattle Seahawks' starting safety tandem was back on the field Tuesday as Earl Thomas practiced for the first time since undergoing offseason shoulder surgery.

The other half is still missing, though, as Kam Chancellor's holdout is nearing the end of its third week, with no immediate end in sight.
