The Seahawks have only worn a bright green jersey once before: Sept. 27, 2009, a 25-19 home loss to the Chicago Bears. After then head coach Jim Mora Jr. blamed the loss on superstition of changing the jerseys, they were thrown in the back of the closet, never to be seen again. Until Thursday.
It’s a different variation of the uniforms, but the Seahawks are bringing them back will full force. Firstly, they won’t be trying to match them with their typical blue bottoms. All green, baby.
