Maurice Alexander’s visit with the Buffalo Bills has turned into a contract with the team, as the former Seattle Seahawks special teams contributor and reserve safety agreed to a one-year, $1.375 million contract.
Alexander played all of his 133 snaps exclusively on special teams in his one season with Seattle. He appeared in just nine games, missing several due to injuries. Really the only important thing out of his departure is how it affects the Seahawks’ compensatory picks entering 2020.
This compensatory free agent loss pads the Seahawks more to allow them to sign a CFA of their own without reducing the maximum number of compensatory picks they are eligible for at 4.
