Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin pleaded no contest to charges of resisting arrest on Thursday.
The former TCU quarterback was arrested on New Year's Eve following an altercation near a San Antonio, Texas bar last December.
Boykin received one year probation is expected to serve the majority of his probation in the Seattle area, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, which first reported the news. According the Bexar County Court records, Boykin also was fined $1,500 and $237 in court costs.
Boykin's arrest resulted in a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury earlier this week, which could have resulted in up to a year in jail, but he received probation instead.
