The longtime Seattle Seahawks middle linebacker was slated to play in the Pro Bowl in Orlando, but a knee injury will keep him off the field.
“Bobby had something that really he didn’t know he had,” Pete Carroll said to NFL Network’s Omar Ruiz. “He found out in the exit interviews that he has a little problem with his knee. He’s just going to rest. I don’t think he has to do anything for it, but he needs to miss this game.”
News of Wagner’s knee issues first broke last week after the Seahawks’ playoff elimination at the hands of the Green Bay Packers.
