Cornerback Tharold Simon’s foot injury that wasn’t listed on the practice report until late in the week will keep him out of the Seahawks’ regular season opener Sunday in St. Louis.
Simon was among the seven players declared inactive a little more than an hour before kickoff.
Joining him on the inactive list: Wide receiver B.J. Daniels, fullback Will Tukuafu, rookie offensive linemen Mark Glowinski and Kristjan Sokoli, linebacker Mike Morgan and defensive lineman David King.
With Kam Chancellor carrying his contract holdout through Week 1, that leaves the Seahawks secondary with a much different look than it had a year ago.
