Best and worst draft picks in Seahawks history

The 2017 NFL draft gets underway Thursday night from Philadelphia, with Seahawks fans watching and waiting to see what happens with the team's first-round pick at No. 26 overall.

There are plenty of scenarios: Seattle could grab the best offensive lineman available in order to shore up a unit that's been problematic for years. Alternatively, the Seahawks could take one of the top defensive backs in an attempt to replenish and rejuvenate the Legion of Boom secondary.

Or maybe the team goes with its stated philosophy and simply selects the best player available: a bell-cow running back or game-changing receiver would be nice additions on offense, while a young interior pass-rusher or playmaking linebacker could boost the defensive side of the ball.
