Suspending Clevenger right call
I just wanted to publicly thank general manager Jerry Dipoto for suspending Steve Clevenger. Not that it will change Steve’s feelings, but saying enough is enough.
Steve has the right to say what he wants, but as a member of a major-league baseball team, he will influence many others with his comments and reflect badly on the Mariners and Major League Baseball.
I totally agree with Jerry’s decision in part due to the level of prejudice and hate in our United States being way out of hand.
