One of the strangest stories of the offseason took another turn on Friday afternoon.
Michael Grieco, the attorney for Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar, reached out to members of the media on Friday to say he has affidavits from five witnesses exonerating Dunbar of involvement in the armed robbery that resulted in an arrest warrant put out for Dunbar on Thursday.
Speaking with David Ovalle of the Miami Herald, Grieco continued his defense of his client saying, “I have never in my career seen a police department so excited about arresting a celebrity.
