The Seattle Seahawks badly needed wide receiver talent, especially with the legitimate possibility that Doug Baldwin’s playing days are over, so they went out and chose three WRs in last week’s 2019 NFL Draft. Seattle traded back into the second-round to snag former Ole Miss star D.K. Metcalf, who raised eyebrows with his results at the combine.
While Metcalf looks like a freak athlete with abs that, if you tried punching them, would lead to severely fractured wrists, there has been skepticism about whether or not his actual abilities as a football player will translate in the pros.
