Early in Sunday’s victory over the Denver Broncos, the Seattle Seahawks lost starting right tackle George Fant to a knee injury. Fant did not return for the rest of the game. This is of major concern to Seattle, as they already do not have projected starter Abraham Lucas at least the next three weeks. Lucas, who’s dealing with a “chronic” knee issue, was placed on the PUP list to start the season, and must miss the first four weeks.
If Fant is out for a prolonged period, and without Lucas, this leaves Seattle with Stone Forsythe, and rookie Mike Jerrell to back him up.
