Jordyn Brooks was secretly a great selection for the Seahawks. He is a heat-seeking missile with 3 down upside. He should be a special teams ace this year with the ability to slot into the SAM position help by Mychal Kendricks last year when converting back to base. Between his speed, feel for the game, leadership and nastiness, this could be a sneakily great pick. After all, Brooks had a 91.5 PFF grade last year in run defense. I feel a lot better about Brooks than I did LJ Collier last year.
Now that I have established where I am at with the first-round selection, its time to look to day 2.
