And yet, they’re still atop the NFC West thanks to the San Francisco 49ers (2-3) suffering their own stunning home defeat to the Arizona Cardinals.
Reeling after their respective setbacks, the Seahawks and 49ers will clash at Lumen Field on Thursday Night Football. Seattle is dealing with major injuries on the defensive line, which is not ideal against the San Francisco offense. This is Mike Macdonald’s first division game as Seahawks head coach, and it’s a big opportunity to “make it right” and end Seattle’s five-game losing streak to Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers.
