The Seattle Seahawks stumbled out of the gates but still got the win against the Denver Broncos at Lumen Field. I’m not sure they can get away with the turnovers, safeties, and penalties on the road against the New England Patriots, no matter how bad the Pats are projected to be.
New England is 1-0 after upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals on the road, and the Pats defense under rookie head coach (and former Pats linebacker) Jerod Mayo looks like it’ll be another strong unit even without Christian Barmore and the traded Matt Judon. There will be no Kenneth Walker or George Fant for the Seahawks today, so their tough road task will be even tougher.
