The Seattle Seahawks (1-1) and Tennessee Titans (2-0) played almost exclusively backups in Saturday’s preseason showdown in Nashville, and the quality reflected as such. We still had late-game drama, with a bloodied Ty Okada setting up Seattle’s go-ahead field goal with an impressive diving interception, only for old Seahawks nemesis Mason Rudolph to lead a game-winning drive. Rookie kicker Brayden Narveson walked it off for the Titans from 46 yards out to beat the Seahawks by a score of 16-15. It would’ve been a 16-16 tie if not for a missed PAT by Jason Myers.
Sam Howell was great, completing 11 of 14 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown.
