There’s pretty much no chance the Seattle Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers, regardless of who Seattle’s starting quarterback is. Seattle is conclusively an average team, at best, and the 49ers might be the best team in the league. In the classic “styles make fights” cliche, the 49ers are a nightmare for this particular Seahawks team. The 49ers offense runs rings around Seattle’s defense, and Seattle’s offense has struggled for three years running against the San Francisco defense. Drew Lock is getting the nod with Geno Smith out.
So what will the Seahawks do with their backs against the wall?
