The Seattle Seahawks begin Phase 3 of the NFL’s offseason program when they kick of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) on Tuesday from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton.
The team has undergone a lot of changes since coming up 1-yard short of winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles in February, and the next three weeks of practice will be the first chance to see the latest edition of the Seahawks come together on the field. OTAs are voluntary, but most of the players expected to contribute to the 2015 Hawks should be in attendance.
Offseason workouts allow new additions to the squad to begin to find their footing with their new team, but they also allow relative unknowns to make their case for an increased role in the upcoming season.
