The Seattle Seahawks have waived running back Christine Michael, who has started seven games for them this season, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:
Wow. The #Seahawks are waiving RB Christine Michael. Thomas Rawls is coming back. But wow

The #Seahawks move to waive Christine Michael has nothing to do with an off-the-field issue. Football decision. Thomas Rawls is better

Thomas Rawls is returning this week from a fibula injury he suffered in Week 2 of the season. He is expected to take over the starting role, with emerging rookie C.J. Prosise serving as the backup.
Michael has rushed for 469 yards and six touchdowns on 117 carries. As a rookie last year, Rawls ran for 830 yards and four touchdowns on 147 carries.
