The 2015 NFL season is just weeks away, and there’s plenty of intrigue to spare surrounding the Seattle Seahawks as the days tick down. Here are three things we've learned so far in training camp:
Jimmy Graham gives the offense a whole new dimension
When the Seahawks gave up a top-flight center (Max Unger) and a draft pick to acquire Graham from New Orleans, they did it in full belief that he's ready to put elite wide receiver's numbers from the tight end spot. Having a safety valve that doubles as one of his top playmakers will be a boon for Russell Wilson. Graham has lived up to the hype so far, and if that continues, Seattle's offense will be one of the league's best.
Big question mark in the secondary
Seattle is hoping that Cary Williams can rebound from a disappointing stint in Philadelphia and fill the void left by Byron Maxwell, but he's been inconsistent in camp. However, the rest of the secondary is unsettled with Kam Chancellor is holding out and Earl Thomas still recovering from shoulder surgery.
Pass rush will be dominant
The Seahawks know what they're going to get from Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril, but second-year man Cassius Marsh has turned heads so far in training camp. He has been dominating pass rush drills during all of camp, and will give Seattle yet another talented defensive weapon in their front four.
