Pierre-Louis was a fourth round pick out of Boston College in 2014. He's battle injuries in his time in the NFL, serving as a backup LB. He has 43 career tackles and should be an ILB in the Chiefs' 3-4 scheme.

Alexander was a 2015 fifth rounder out of Oregon State. He was actually named to the Pro Bowl in 2016 for his special teams ability as an alternate. He likely won't contribute much on the defense side, but will be expected to continue playing well on special teams for the Chiefs.
