The Seattle Seahawks could be without star TE Jimmy Graham for the rest of the season. Graham suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right leg during the Seahawks' 39-30 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
"We're gonna miss the heck out of him for the rest of the season," head coach Pete Carroll said after the game.
Graham was carted off the field and his right leg was in an air cast. He was in the midst of one of his best days as a Seahawk, having caught four passes for 75 with much of the fourth quarter left to go.
The Seahawks dealt center Max Unger and first rounder for Graham. He was supposed to be the weapon Russell Wilson hasn't had in Seattle. He hasn't been that great for Seattle, catching 44 passes for 530 yards and two TDs before Sunday's game. He was on track for career-low numbers in all major categories.
With Graham out, the Seahawks are down to Luke Willson and Cooper Helfet at TE. Helfet has just one catch this season. Willson has reeled in 11 passes for 140 yards and a TD this season. If Graham is out for the year, the team could look to sign a replacement.
