It has been a busy day for the Seattle Seahawks.
After informing cornerback Richard Sherman that they plan to release him and after trading defensive lineman Michael Bennett to the Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle is reportedly willing to trade All-Pro safety Earl Thomas, according to NFL Network's Mike Silver.
I am also told the Seahawks will listen to trade offers for Earl Thomas. They'd obviously be seeking a lot in return. @AroundTheNFL @nflnetwork @NFLTotalAccess

Seattle has previously said that they plan to keep Thomas but, with a defensive reform clearly underway, they're willing to see what kind of return they can get for their star.
Thomas created quite a stir towards the end of the season when vocalized his desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys whenever Seattle decided they wanted to part with him.
Thomas, who had 88 tackles and two interceptions last season, has one year left on his contract before he becomes a free agent at age 30. He'll be making $8.5 million next season.
