NFL free agency is well under way and the Seattle Seahawks have found themselves at the center of several rumors, particularly those involving Adrian Peterson and Richard Sherman. They made several moves in the first week and aren't done yet, and are also preparing for the upcoming NFL Draft. Here are the latest Seahawks news and rumors you need to know.
Seahawks open to trading Marshawn Lynch
Marshawn Lynch didn't play last year after retiring, but the Oakland Raiders are interested in talking him into coming back and playing for them. However, since the Seahawks still hold Lynch's rights, the Raiders would have to trade for him - and the Seahawks are willing to listen, according to NFL.com.
Whereas future Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware, for example, was a free agent when he decided to hang up his cleats earlier this week, Lynch retired one season into a two-year, $24 million contract extension signed in March of 2015. If he wants to scratch the itch to play again, he would remain under contract with Seattle.
The Seahawks would be willing to trade the 30-year-old power back for the right price, Garafolo confirmed, but they had no intention of releasing him without compensation when the subject was broached last year.
As NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport noted Friday morning, there is no indication that the Raiders have reached out to the Seahawks about the possibility of acquiring Lynch's rights.
In his final season in 2015, Lynch rushed for 417 yards and three touchdowns on 111 carries.
Seattle signs OL Oday Aboushi
The Seahawks have made it a priority to upgrade their offensive line this offseason, and they added to it by signing Oday Aboushi, who announced the news on Twitter.

Aboushi spent the last two seasons with the Texans, starting eight games at guard.
Seahawks also targeting OL Ryan Clady
However, Seattle may not be done, as they are also targeting former All-Pro tackle Ryan Clady, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia.
The team hosted visits with three linemen Friday, including former All-Pro tackle Ryan Clady, a league source tells ESPN's Field Yates. Clady has started 106 games in nine NFL seasons, but injuries have derailed him recently.
He started eight games for the New York Jets last season and allowed two sacks before a rotator-cuff tear sidelined him. In the past four seasons, Clady has appeared in 27 games and missed 37 due to injury.
