NFL free agency is well under way and the Seattle Seahawks are making moves. They've already signed one offensive lineman and brought in another for a visit. They've also signed a few players today. Here are the latest Seahawks news and rumors you need to know.
Richard Sherman Trade Rumors
By now, you've probably heard the rumblings that the Seahawks are open to dealing CB Richard Sherman. For those of you that haven't, here's what Michael Lombardi said on The Ringer's NFL Show.
"I truly believe based on what I hear around the National Football League that the Seahawks would, in fact— for the right deal—trade Richard Sherman."
But here's what that really means: the Seahawks are willing to listen to trade offers for Sherman, but aren't actively trying to deal him. That's also what Benjamin Allbright reported. Every player in the NFL is available for the right price, but that price is often higher than any team is willing to meet. So don't expect a Sherman trade. The Seahawks' front office is just doing it's job by listening to any potential offers.
Ryan Clady Visits
The Seahawks added Luke Joeckel earlier this offseason, but they might not be done making moves quite on the offensive line.

Clady would likely play left tackle for Seattle, allowing Joeckel to play guard or right tackle. Based on his play in Jacksonville, that's for the best. It's unclear how much Clady would cost, especially given the current tackle market, but he'd no doubt help the Seahawks' offensive line.
Interest In WR Kamar Aiken
The Seahawks appear to have interest in former Ravens WR Kamar Aiken.

The interest is intriguing, since wide out isn't much of a need for the Seahawks. Aiken is a slot wide receiver, but if he's willing to sign cheap, it could be an option.
DeShawn Shead Re-signs
Despite dealing with a torn ACL, CB DeShawn Shead is coming back to Seattle with some notable guaranteed money.
The #Seahawks 1-year deal for CB DeShawn Shead is worth $1.5M, source said, with $1M guaranteed. A show of faith after ACL surgery.

It's unclear how much, if any, of an impact Shead will have as he recovers from his injury. But this move should help future negotiations once Shead is healthy.
Seattle Adds LB Arthur Brown And OG Oday Aboushi, Lose DT John Jenkins
It's been a busy past few days for the Seahawks, so consider this the latest signings section. They've added a former second round pick, and an offensive lineman but did lose veteran DT John Jenkins.
Former Texans guard Oday Aboushi signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks, according to a source

#Seahawks signed former #Ravens LB Arthur Brown.

The #Bears have signed NT John Jenkins, formerly of the #Saints and #Seahawks, per @SunnyTheAgent.

The loss of Jenkins could sting, but the Seahawks should be okay at defensive tackle. They needed more young talent there anyway and the loss of Jenkins shouldn't have a major impact on their draft or rest of free agency plans.
The addition of Brown is intriguing. He was a second round pick by the Ravens a few years ago, but has not lived up to that draft status. Perhaps the Seahawks can get the most out of him. And yes, he is the brother of former Seahawks RB Bryce Brown.
Aboushi has started sparingly in the NFL, with stops in Houston and with the New York Jets.
