The Seattle Seahawks added cornerback depth by activating Tharold Simon off the PUP list following offseason shoulder surgery, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.com.
Seattle was without Richard Sherman and Will Blackmon in its first preseason game, but both are expected back by the start of the season.
A fifth round pick out of LSU, Simon saw limited playing time during his rookie season. He intercepted one pass and recorded 13 tackles in 10 regular season games. Simon struggled in the Super Bowl after he was pressed into more playing time following Jeremy Lane's injury.
