Former NBA player and three-time slam dunk champion Nate Robinson is trying out for the Seattle Seahawks, according to the Washington Post:

The 32-year-old Seattle native, is trying out to be a defensive back.
He played cornerback for the University of Washington as a freshman in 2002, playing in all 13 games - including six starts - before quitting to focus solely on basketball.
He was drafted in the first round by the Phoenix Suns in the 2005 NBA Draft before being traded to the New York Knicks on draft night. Robinson's NBA career lasted 11 seasons on eight teams, including the two games he played for the New Orleans Pelicans this season. After they released him, played 14 games for Hapoel Tel-Aviv in Israel.
