We don’t need to re-hash how the 2014 season ended, but let’s just say the Seattle Seahawks are very close to where they need to be to win another Super Bowl. Pete Carroll has built this team on the back of several very successful draft picks, and he'll be looking to select the next batch of future stars this year. What areas do the Seahawks need to improve?
RUNNING BACK
Marshawn Lynch’s future with the Seahawks is up in the air, and it’s important for Seattle to have a long-term backup plan even if he returns. The position has been largely devalued in recent years, but the running game has been the focal point of Seattle's offense and Robert Turbin doesn't seem to be ready to carry the load. Georgia's Todd Gurley or Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon would be great options for the Seahawks in the first round.
WIDE RECEIVER
Seattle has had success with their core of mostly undrafted receivers, but finding a game-breaker would definitely help the offense. This year's class of wideouts is very deep, so expect the Seahawks to wait until the middle rounds before taking a receiver. Stanford’s Ty Montgomery and ECU's Justin Hardy are the best options for Seattle at that point.
OFFENSIVE LINE
Seattle's offensive line isn't weak, but they need more depth in the unit if they want to stay among the NFL's elite. Brandon Scherff from Iowa and Cameron Erving from Florida State are the potential first-round draft picks if the Seahawks choose to go this direction.
