The Seattle Seahawks head to San Diego to face the Chargers in Week 2 of the 2014 season.
Coming off a commanding victory over Green Bay, Seattle will look to jump out to a quick 2-0 start to their season.
Records:
Chargers: 0-1
Seahawks: 1-0
Last Meeting: Seahawks won 27-20 in 2010
Key Stat: Phillip Rivers threw for a career-high 455 yards in the last Seattle-San Diego matchup, despite losing the game.
San Diego Outlook: The Chargers continued their Monday Night Football woes, blowing a 17-6 lead to Arizona, and falling 18-17.
The offense was a bit out of sync, resulting in a slow day for second-year wideout Keenan Allen, who finished with just five receptions for 37 yards.
The good news is Malcolm Floyd looked strong in his return to the field, giving the Chargers hope that he can help boost the offense and give Phillip Rivers another weapon.
Seattle Outlook: It was business as usual for the Seahawks in their season opener - strong defense and an overwhelming running game helped put Green Bay away relatively easily.
Marshawn Lynch punched in two touchdowns and posted 110 yards to lead the way offensively.
Meanwhile, the defense allowed a strong Green Bay offense to compile just 255 total yards.
What to watch for: It starts and ends with the Seahawks defense, and going up against a turnover prone Phillip Rivers this unit has a chance to take over this game.
Look for Seattle to employ their usual formula of pounding the rock on the ground while the defense creates pressure on the opposing offense.
San Diego will have to get creative to succeed offensively - that means getting more than their usual playmakers involved; guys like Danny Woodhead, Ladarius Green and Eddie Royal involved

Seattle proved last year that their road troubles were mostly behind them. Despite having to face a Chargers team in their home opener, the Seahawks have enough talent on both sides of the ball to control this game and come away with a win - albeit not as dominant as last week.
