The Seattle Seahawks were obviously anxious to get rid of wide receiver Percy Harvin because of his anger issues and repeated fights with teammates, but today we learned just how willing they were.
The New York Jets are giving Seattle a conditional pick in return for Harvin, and there are multiple reports that the pick can not be higher than a fourth-rounder.
That's surprisingly little compensation for someone the Seahawks gave up a first-round pick, third-round pick, and seventh-round pick for when they acquired him over a year ago.
Seattle's front office was reportedly so concerned about Harvin becoming such a locker room cancer that they just wanted to get rid of him, and they pulled the trigger on the trade with the Jets as soon as they could.
